![]() ![]() If you've yet to see what life is like when you're a massive shark, our Maneater review should prove quite illuminating. The DLC launches later this summer on PC (via the Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4, will cost $14.99 / €14.99 / £12.99, and require the base game in order to work. Failure to Communicate requires you to tail-whip objects to destroy the target objective, while Time Trial puts your swimming skills to the test by having you go through a series of rings before time runs out. Maneater: Truth Quest also adds two new objective types. Five new Bounty Bosses will also roam the waters, looking to take you down. The military also gets involved this time around, able to "launch attacks from beaches and fortifications," have its helicopters attack you from the air, while its bounty hunters harrass you with new weapons and vehicles. Players will also have the chance to hunt new evolved creatures alongside an “Uber” Apex Predator that hasn't been encountered before. More mutations never hurt anyone, except for everyone unlucky enough to be anywhere near you. Five new evolution organs expand the number of builds you can have, with one additional organ slot unlocked upon reaching the new maximum level. ![]() Maneater: Truth Quest raises your level cap to 40 and lets your shark grow even bigger in size. "We’re aiming to give players more of what they loved from the original Maneater, with the ability to grow bigger, explore an entirely new region off the coast of Port Clovis, and evolve further tools of destruction," said Creative Director Sean McBride. ![]()
